Kim has been tuning, repairing, rebuilding, refinishing, and selling pianos for over twenty-five years. His career began at one of the West's largest piano retailers. He started his own retail store in 1980 and soon opened three more outlets.

Kim currently maintains his own piano sales & servicing business.
